Award winning Design-Build Construction firm receives Featured Company of London Award

London ON - (November 28, 2007) McKay-Cocker Construction Limited., a growing Design-Build Construction company, headquartered in London, has been named the most recent recipient of the Featured Company of London Award.

McKay-Cocker is a privately owned Canadian Company founded in 1946. They have played a significant role in the construction of new facilities throughout London, and Ontario.

Headquartered in London, with a branch office located in Toronto, McKay-Cocker services an area from Kingston to Windsor. Design-Build has become a dominant part of the business providing an owner with a single source of responsibility. Their local projects include the Covent Garden Market, 3M Canada, Air Ontario, Intier Seating, Parts Canada Limited, and their newest project - the new Tepperman's Retail and Distribution Centre on Wharncliffe Rd. South. They are also currently completing the Toyota plant in Woodstock, along with four tier-one suppliers.

They were honoured with the prestigious first-place Award Of Excellence from the Canadian Design-Build Institute for the highest standard in building design for the 6-story Ontario Power Generation Inc Nuclear Support Office Building in Pickering.
