Canada’s Leading Automotive Industry Analyst to Make a Special Appearance in London

London ON – (March 9, 2005) Canada’s leading automotive industry analyst Dennis DesRosiers will make a special appearance in London at a breakfast event hosted by the London Economic Development Corporation on April 12, 2005 at the London Convention Centre.
Mr. DesRosiers will provide a comprehensive outlook on the North American automotive sector and the opportunities for Canadian suppliers.
“We are excited at this opportunity to bring Dennis to London. He is an excellent resource for us in terms of building relationships within the automotive industry. He is regarded as a leading authority on the North American automotive sector and we have been fortunate to benefit from that expertise,” says John Kime, LEDC President and CEO. “This event provides a tremendous occasion for our business community to understand the opportunities and value that the automotive parts sector provides to our continued economic growth.”
One of the foremost theorists in the North American automotive industry, Mr. DesRosiers’ primary strength and area of concentration lies in the business-to-business sector of the automotive industry. Over the years, he has developed a multi-task, multi-functional and in-depth approach towards automotive industry analysis. This has led to his theories gaining considerable prominence throughout the North American industry. In numerous instances, he has been the first to identify latent issues and trends long before years of accumulated data allowed these trends to emerge and become generally visible.
DesRosiers believes that the LEDC’s approach to building the automotive sector is the smartest policy of any municipality in Ontario, noting that “London remains focused on auto parts instead of just trying to land big assembly plants as do other communities.”
“London’s strategy is the case study in automotive investment development,” says DesRosiers.
Tickets are $35.00 plus GST and include a hot breakfast and complimentary parking.
