Deck the Hall with the Chamber

London ON (November 16 2006) Thanks to the London Chamber of Commerce Trees of Good Will program, over twenty five local charities will receive a beautifully decorated artificial tree just in time for the holidays. To help celebrate this success and to kick off the holiday season, the London Chamber of Commerce together with event sponsor OLG Slots at Western Fair invites everyone to the 8th annual Deck the Hall celebration on Tuesday December 5th at the Crystal Ballroom in the Best Western Lamplighter Inn from 5:30 – 8:30p.m.

Now in its 8th year, Deck the Hall has become a must attend event for hundreds of Chamber members and members of the general London business community. Designed as an affordable alternative for businesses seeking a polished version of the usual staff Christmas party, this event is hailed as the place to go during the holiday season to toast fellow business people and colleagues, listen to world class music by UWO’s Don Wright Faculty of Music, win Christmas cracker prizes, and enjoy mouth watering hors d’oeuvres in a festive setting for just $30. Deck the Hall pre-registration is required. Tickets are available online at www.londonchamber.com or can be reserved by phone at 519-432-7551, Ex 0.

The decorated artificial trees will be on display at the Deck the Hall event. Under the Chamber’s Trees of Good Will program, companies sponsor the cost of purchasing and decorating artificial trees. Courtesy of Campbell Bros. Movers, the decorated trees are then delivered to the sponsoring company’s charity of choice. Proceeds made from the sale of the trees go to The University of Western Ontario’s Don Wright Faculty of Music, who will be establishing a London Chamber of Commerce Music Award.

As part of the Deck the Hall activities, 100 Christmas Crackers will be available for sale, each with wonderful prizes inside including but not limited to restaurant gift certificates, Knights tickets and spa visits. One cracker will have an entire Romance Package inside including wine, wine flutes, hotel accommodations and an incredible piece of jewelry from Gordon’s Gold valued at $725.
