Featured Company Award goes to CoreSolutions Development Inc.

London ON – (February 14, 2005) CoreSolutions Development Inc. was announced today as the next recipient of the Featured Company award presented by the London Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) and the City of London. Company president and CEO, Barney Lawn will receive a commemorative plaque from Mayor Anne Marie DeCicco at the next city council meeting on February 21.

“We are extremely honoured to be recognized by the LEDC and the City of London. This award is a tribute to our talented team and the quality work we do. This recognition increases our visibility in the London region and provides us with a valuable opportunity to show the local business community what CoreSolutions has to offer in terms of products and services,” said Lawn.

Currently celebrating 15 years of business in London, CoreSolutions develops quality software for organizations that require unique information systems. Since its incorporation in 1989, the company has expanded from a one-man operation to 20 full-time employees. Lawn cites a firm commitment to quality, constant attention to emerging technologies and sound business practices and methodologies as key reasons for the growth and success of CoreSolutions.

Over the years, CoreSolutions has embraced emerging web technologies in an effort to meet the changing needs of its education, government, healthcare and non-profit sector clients. Today, the company specializes in the development of custom-designed databases and data-driven web-applications using leading edge software. Recent projects include: a web-based report card system for Ontario School Boards, a diagnosis management system for the healthcare sector, and a marketing management system for a large investment company.

“Through the expansion of our web development and design services division, we anticipate that our business will continue to grow in the City of London. In the future we plan to more actively promote our custom web-based solutions to local companies seeking to improve the way they do business,” said Lawn.

Together with the City of London, the LEDC announces a featured company each month.
