JMP Engineering Increases Texas Manufacturing Performance with New San Antonio Location

LONDON, ON, November 21, 2006 - New technologies and performance solutions are now available to San Antonio, Texas manufacturers through the sale of Leading Edge Controls to international systems integration company, JMP Engineering Inc. The acquisition of Leading Edge Controls, a highly regarded San Antonio firm that specializes in industrial control systems, extends Canadian-based JMP into the Texas region and is the second US office. The new location also marks their third major expansion in less than a year.

Stephen Horras, founder of Leading Edge Controls, will direct the new location, leveraging his established relationships in the Texas region. Horras points out, "The entry of JMP into the San Antonio market fills a great need for a local full service controls firm. We will offer services in MES, motion and other advance control disciplines that have never been available locally." The San Antonio location will also support the needs of established JMP clients, especially Toyota and their new 2000 acre truck manufacturing plant opening later this year.
