London ON – (May 11, 2005) The London Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) and the City of London today announced Windsor Factory Supply Limited as the next recipient of the Featured Company of London Award. Sales and Marketing Manager, Jason Bates will receive a commemorative plaque from Mayor Anne Marie DeCicco at the city council meeting on May 16.
One of the region’s largest MROP (maintenance, repair, operations & production) industrial supply companies, Windsor Factory Supply is 100% employee owned and operated. This unique structure gives everyone a personal stake in the company’s success and ensures that customer service and customer satisfaction levels remain extremely high.
The London branch was established in 1975 with two full time employees. Today, it employs 53 full time and 21 part time employees. There are six locations throughout Southwestern Ontario, employing a total of 278 people.
Much of Windsor Factory Supply London’s recent growth can be attributed to the influx of new manufacturing facilities in London. The company has been able to provide many of these newly established London businesses with a dependable local supplier.
