In 2020 Ontario Power Generation (OPG) partnered with Hydro One to build Ontario’s largest, most connected electric vehicle fast-charger network, Ivy charging Network. Once complete, Ivy will connect the north to the south, and east to the west with 160 chargers across 73 locations.
When OPG closed its coal stations, it marked one of the largest single actions to combat climate change in the world. Our transition to a diverse and clean generation portfolio has helped decarbonize Ontario’s electricity system and other sectors like transportation.
We’re proud of this achievement, and we believe using clean electrons to power our cars, trains and buses is the next big climate change victory in Ontario.
We invite you to join us to see how OPG is innovating for tomorrow and to help the province fight against climate change.
