About our speakers:
Sean Murray, Sr. Director of Client Success at Business Cloud Inc.
With over a decade in the customer service industry and 5+ years in the technology vertical, he excels at simplifying complex technology challenges for business leaders to increase organizational cybersecurity posture and improve team member collaboration and productivity.
As the Sr. Director of Client Success, Sean's role at Business Cloud is to build and manage client and partner relationships while also shaping the new client onboarding experience. Business Cloud provides a holistic approach to managing clients' business technology ecosystems, and Sean works with clients across various industries such as financial service providers, law firms, and other professional services.
With the explosion of the cybercrime industry over the past few years, Sean has guided their client community by identifying and mitigating risks through complex policy implementations and deployments of various proactive cybersecurity tools.
Alyssa Parenteau, Senior Security Analyst, Field Effect
Alyssa spent 17 years at the Communications Security Establishment (CSE) ? one of Canada?s key security and intelligence organizations. Starting as an analyst performing penetration testing, big data and host-based analysis, and tradecraft creation to catch, track, and characterize threat actors, Alyssa later transitioned to an advisor, helping critical infrastructure partners identify and rectify gaps in their cybersecurity posture.
In 2018, Alyssa sought a new challenge and left CSE for Linchpin Labs, later acquired by L3Harris, one of the largest private defense contractors in the world. Using her operational experience, Alyssa liaised between developers and clients, including allied governments and defense agencies, to advance the development and testing of offensive cyber capabilities.
In 2021, Alyssa switched back to defense, being given an opportunity at Field Effect to utilize her 20+ years of experience to help organizations navigate an increasingly complex cybersecurity ecosystem.
