We invite you to join us for our second Connector Session “What Colour Is Your Innovation?: How Canadian Change Agents Can Futureproof Their Ventures and Next Big Things.” This session will be presented by Canadian innovator champion Sean Moffitt, the Managing Director of Futureproofing, Cygnus Ventures, and Grey Swan Guild. During this event, we will delve into what the future beyond innovation looks like and explore the question of how to turn Canadian innovation & ventures from “red” into flush with green, impact, and value.

Keynote Speaker:
Sean Moffitt is Managing Director of Futureproofing, Cygnus Ventures and Grey Swan Guild. Sean has spent the better part of the last two decades working in innovation+ across corporates, scaleups and startups. After leading roles in executive marketing, strategy and innovation positions, he has built four successful startups and helped counsel hundreds of various companies across nearly every vertical. He is unparalleled in his understanding of front, mid and back end innovation, business models and pragmatic innovation leadership.
He has authored two books Wikibrands: Reinventing Your Company in a Customer-Driven Marketplace and Uncertainty: Making Better Sense of the World for Better, Bolder Outcomes and is in the midst of completing his third book Futureproofing : The Future Beyond Innovation available in early 2024.
He has completed 40 research & intelligence projects over the last decade including his proprietary Corporate Innovation Playbook. The passion, credibility and relevance he brings to events, workshops and executive briefings has been evident to audiences he has spoken to across 40+ countries.
He is a huge champion of Canadian innovation having sat on a number of university boards, represented Canada internationally in global trade work, functioned as executive counsel to Canada's biggest incubator MaRS Discovery District and conducted in-depth research on Canada's innovation gap.
He continues to develop and host a variety of events, podcasts, intelligence efforts and ventures with the common thread of leading change, emerging technologies, future trends, the shifting marketplace and the evolving workplace.
