Doors Open London is an event presented by the London Heritage Council. During the event weekend which happens each September, the public is treated with a chance to explore the many museums, heritage sites, and organizations around the city FREE of charge. Londoners, Newcomers, and visitors alike are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about the city from this unique perspective.
The 22nd annual Doors Open London (DOL) weekend will take place on September 16 and 17, 2023. The theme for this year is London’s Heritage Through Cuisine—and invites participants and attendees to explore London’s culture through food. The event weekend provides a range of interesting locations and activities to ensure all community members can match their curiosities all while enabling participants to embrace opportunities for public engagement. Attendees are able to explore the rich heritage of the Forest City and have an inside look at London's many museums, heritage sites, and community businesses.
