Too many manufacturers are being drawn into technology road maps with multi-year roll-outs, forgetting the lessons learned from the .COM boom of the late 1990's. Implementing any technology needs to start with specific business goals and a clear path to return on investment.
At this session we will not get caught up in the technology focused hype of Industry 4.0. Rather we will focus on helping companies begin or expand their Digitization of the shop floor, without major automation or technology investment required.

We will touch on 4.0/digitization, Production Reporting and OEE, Scheduled Checks and Attendance and Skills Tracking technology. A quick review of new Track and Trace solutions as well, which is very relevant for our friends in the automotive sector.
At this session we will highlight what some manufacturers & EMC Members right here in SW Ontario are doing to successfully implement these changes!
