Trope
Trope is an alt-rock band featuring vocalist Diana Studenberg. They formed in 2016 and spent the next couple of years writing and recording demos which became their debut album "Eleutheromania". They garnered the attention of the music industry including Mike Fraser (ACDC, Metallica) who agreed to engineer the album. David Bottrill (Tool, Peter Gabriel) also expressed interest and creatively consulted and mixed the album, and Ted Jensen (Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots) joined the team as mastering engineer. In 2022, Trope went on a 26-date European tour supporting The Pineapple Thief featuring Gavin Harrison and supported Symphony X and Haken on Symphony X's '25th Year Anniversary' tour for 26 shows across North America. They played the main stages at Summerfest for two-consecutive years and were invited on tour with Kings X. Trope were featured in Heavy Mag, Loudwire, Prog Mag, LouderSound and Metal Hammer Germany and endorse Sennheiser, Warm Audio and GHS Strings. Trope’s sophomore album ‘Dyad’ will be released Spring 2024.

Eleanor Gebrou
Eleanor is a singer-songwriter with an R&B leaning sound, coloured in accents of soul and indie music. She takes a narrative approach to songwriting, leaning on experiences of grief and overcoming to shape stories that are robust and deeply felt. “I make music because it would be harder not to, it's a very natural extension of my personhood,” the artist says of herself. Eleanor’s music has been covered widely by publications such as Earmilk, ColorsxStudios and Exclaim Magazine. Wonderland Magazine has dubbed her music “a peaceful effort that matter of factly confronts life’s most difficult intricacies as they dissipate into a chorus of soul-laden beats.”

Eleanor has recently contributed to the published music of artists such as: Texas King, Saveria and Chad Price. Her music has also been featured prominently on radio and television, and her debut  E.P. "A Late Bloom" will be dropping in the summer of 2023.

Uncle Crobes
Raised in Brantford, Ontario Uncle Cobes is an upcoming Rapper in the London community doing things his own way with versatility in his discography and not stick to a basic sound, he likes to experiment with his range of music. This 22 year old Rapper has a lot planned for future music and to expanded his sound, energy and his image.. with him doing shows, dropping music daily and content! You keep an eye on Cobes.

Francy Planet
A consummate lyricist and powerhouse vocalist, Planet fuses 80s flair, 90s quirk, and 2000s polish into a modern alternative pop-rock sound. With lush productions, memorable choruses and a splash of wistful longing, you’ll hear influences like Journey, Fountains of Wayne, Katy Perry, Matthew Good, and Motion City Soundtrack.

Every one of Planet’s whimsical, narrative songs feels like a trip to Blockbuster, with clever, candid lyrics rolling like subtitles in a Spielberg flick: heartfelt, nostalgic, and usually about a little guy against something big.

Born in Northern Ontario to Francophone parents, Planet's given name is François Goudreault. "We moved south when I was a kid,” says Planet, explaining why he’s always performed in English. His buddies coined the nickname Francy after high school.

The London City of Music Concert Series continues until the end of August. Local, national and even international performers will be featured in Canada's UNESCO City of Music.
