London Symphonia musicians are back with FREE Family Cushion Concerts this summer at a London Public Library Branch near you! Musical fun for everyone in the family!
Your young music lovers will be introduced to a wide range of musical styles -- classical, pop, folk, rock, 1920s ragtime, even a Disney favourite -- and instruments, in a warm, relaxed, kid-friendly environment that encourages them to clap along to their favourite songs and interact with the music and musicians.
We are thrilled to offer two Family Cushion Concert programs:
Cooking Up A Concert
Composers take inspiration from many aspects of everyday life and food is one of them. With the Flute, Cello and Percussion as the main instruments in this kitchen, your kids will learn how to create music using “instruments” found in your kitchen and how music is created using a “musical recipe.”
