Pechakucha Night London Ontario Event

Dates

-

PechaKucha is a presentation format that originated in Tokyo, Japan, in 2003, created by architects Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham. It's designed to keep presentations concise and fast-paced. The name comes from a Japanese term that mimics the sound of conversation or chit-chat.

In a PechaKucha presentation, the presenter shows 20 slides, each for exactly 20 seconds. The slides advance automatically, giving the speaker a total of 6 minutes and 40 seconds to talk. This format encourages presenters to get straight to the point and keeps the audience engaged.

PechaKucha nights are informal and fun gatherings where people share their ideas and passions in this quick-fire format.
