Presented by:
Chantal Quagliara is the Communications Supervisor in the Communications and Media Relations department at King’s University College at Western University. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations – Corporate Communications from Fanshawe College, a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Laurentian University, and is pursuing her master’s degree in Professional Communication at Royal Roads University, Victoria, B.C.
In her role at King’s for the past three years, Chantal has demonstrated strong competencies in award-winning strategic digital communications. Using the power of planned and thoughtful social media, Chantal and her team at King’s have built trusting relationships with key stakeholders to help meet key performance indicators in student and employee engagement, recruitment and retention. She has championed building community on institutional social media accounts, including King’s popular TikTok account.
Elizabeth Hauspie is a student Social Media Squad Leader and Work Study with the King’s Communications department since 2020. Elizabeth worked with Chantal and the team to implement the use of TikTok for King’s and create and post content to the popular social media platform. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Disability Studies and Thanatology, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Social Work degree at King’s.
