The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is Canada's hazard communication standard. The key elements of the system are: hazard classification, cautionary labelling of containers, the provision of safety data sheets (SDSs) and worker education programs. Suppliers, employers, and workers each have requirements under WHMIS.

WHMIS a comprehensive system for providing health and safety information on hazardous products intended for use, handling, or storage in Canadian workplaces. Join us for a review of regulatory amendments made to the Hazardous Products Regulations.

Join us on January 29, to review the regulatory amendments made to the Hazardous Products Regulation. The amendments provide a 3-year transition period, ending on December 14, 2025.
