Wortley Village Jazz & Blues Festival 2024, Sunday afternoon, August 18, 2024, 2 PM until 6 PM!
A free street music festival on two blocks of Wortley Road between Askin/Craig and Elmwood. A community event: many of the London artists who will be performing live in Wortley Village or Old South!
6 bands on three stages! 2024 full line-up TBA.
Bring a lawn chair, hope for sunny weather. 5,000 people attended the festival in 2023.
WVJBF was started in 2007 by Marty Verweel, Rod Lorimer, Duncan Grant, and Chris Murphy.
Wortley Village Jazz & Blues is run by volunteers and exists because of continued support from organizations like OSCO (Old South Community Organization), London Musicians Association, The Music Performance Trust Fund, and the London Ontario Jazz Hub. Dozens of local businesses also support the festival financially. Donations are welcome on Festival Day!
