Big Blue Bubble’s loot-packed new title features challenging combat and fluid pixel animation
LONDON, ON. Feb. 27, 2020 — Canadian game developer Big Blue Bubble launched its 2D action-platformer Foregone in Early Access today on the Epic Games Store with support from Ontario Creates. First announced as an Epic Games Store exclusive during the 2019 Game Awards, PC gamers can now experience Foregone’s award-winning music, breathtaking pixel artwork, and intense combat first-hand.
“Foregone is a huge accomplishment for our studio and a game that we’ve wanted to make for a very long time,” said Damir Slogar, founder and CEO of Big Blue Bubble. “This launch marks our return to PC and console development after nearly a decade, so we’re thrilled to finally let the world get their hands on the game.”
Foregone players will take on the role as the city of Calagan’s strongest Arbiter tasked with investigating the sudden resurgence of an all-corrupting force known as the Harrow. The Arbiter will destroy legions of enemies, battle formidable bosses, and collect a wide array of upgradeable loot as she embarks on a twisted journey to unravel the haunting truth behind the Harrow. The intense, combat-focused title features stunning fast and fluid pixel artwork, combining old-school visual influences with modern 3D animation technology.
Foregone is available in Early Access today on the Epic Games Store ($24.99 USD) with a full release and roll out to major consoles planned later this year.
