(London, ON) – Arvin Sango Inc., a manufacturer of technically advanced and high quality components to Original Equipment Manufacturers has officially broke ground in Innovation Park.
“We are looking forward to the construction of our 110,000 sqft facility here in London Ontario,” said Mr. Dan Baughman, V.P of Arvin Sango.
The London facility marks Arvin Sango’s first North American Plant. “It’s an honor to have Arvin Sango join our growing advanced manufacturing sector in London, and grow the global automotive supply chain.” says Peter White, President and CEO of the London Economic Development Corporation. “Location advantages, supply-chain symmetry, and competitive business costs have made London attractive to this innovative, state of the art company.”
Located on 12.5 acres of land in Innovation Park - Phase III, Arvin Sango’s first build will employ approximately 60 employees. Arvin Sango's London investment will support the manufacture of exhaust system assemblies for Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada. Toyota now has the capacity to build almost 500,000 vehicles per year in Canada, a level of production that has encouraged several companies to invest in Canada.
The ground-breaking ceremony was held at Innovation Park at the corner of Bradley and Innovation Drive where the plant will be located.
