London, ON (June 24, 2013) -- Bayshore Home Health, Canada’s largest provider of home and community health care services, is pleased to announce it has been awarded a 3-year contract by London Health Sciences Centre to provide Observational Care Providers (OCP) at University Hospital and Victoria Hospital.
To support this expansion, Bayshore is hiring 100 local OCPs to provide observational care to oversee the safety of patients, staff and environment. Where possible, the company has engaged the former service providers to ensure an efficient transition, including minimizing any disruption to patients.
“Bayshore’s Observational Care Providers demonstrate a passion and commitment to consistently go above and beyond what’s needed to help the people and the community they serve,” says Mary Carter, Area Director for Bayshore Home Health. “Their hard work and tremendous dedication has helped make Bayshore Canada’s leading home and community care provider.
Ranked as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies for seven years running, Bayshore is utilizing this opportunity to employ people from all walks of life as well as students from many of the local trade schools, plus Western University and Fanshawe College.
It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to help young people passionate about our work get their careers started,” says Ms. Carter. "As a leader in the sector, we recognize our responsibility to help develop the talented and passionate professionals who represent the next generation of care givers."
