Call for Applications for NEA Program (Newcomer Entrepreneur Accelerator)

 

About NEA

The Newcomer Entrepreneur Accelerator Program is a 6-month program partially supported by funding from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP). This program is designed to help promising Canadian technology companies founded by newcomers to grow and scale.

 

Ideal Participant Profile

  • Canadian technology-based company engaged in the development of intellectual property for their product.
  • Have demonstrated traction, either through sales, prior investments and grants, or user growth, contingent on the industry.
  • Minimum 50% of the company owned by new Canadian citizen(s) or permanent resident(s)
  • Fewer than 500 employees

What to expect

  • 1:1 coaching from Business coaches, Industry Experts, C-Fractional executives, and dedicated support from our team.
  • Support with talent acquisition and team building, accounting, corporate taxes, and sales growth in North America.
  • Customized market research and focus group for your company.
  • Investment Readiness Program as a preparation for future investments and participation in Demo Day. Opportunity to network with investors from our circle.
  • Virtual or hybrid participation modes available.
