London, ON (October 2011) CS Automotive Tubing Inc.has been named the recipient of London’s featured company award for the month of October by the City of London and the London Economic Development Corporation.
Founded in 2007 as a Canadian subsidiary of Changshin Steel in Korea, CS Automotive Tubing (CSAT) produces automotive exhaust system and fuel filler tubes using very specialized stainless steel manufactured from Japan.
Their 53,000 sq.ft.facility was built in London’s Innovation Industrial. CS Tube started with only a handful of employees, but now has 28 people working, and expect to grow to 50 in next 3 years. The facility of 53,000 sq.ft.was built in London’s Innovation Industrial Park.Their plant is currently doubling in size to 103,000 sq.ft.to allow for more warehouse space and increase manufacturing capacity for the future growth.Their London plant is their first facility in North America.

London’s Featured Company Award is distributed by the City of London and the London Economic Development Corporation and is awarded to a London company that fits the criteria:part of the external economy with demonstrated leadership in their industry sector, recognized as an employer of choice, demonstrated community mindedness, demonstrated sustainability and/or growth, and has demonstrated innovation. The award is given by the Mayor in front of Council at their monthly meetings.
