"BDC helps entrepreneurs grow their business. I work in the tech financing space and we help companies that are in the tech industry finance their business with working capital, so it's a non-dilutive option for businesses to scale and grow their business.
I'm an account manager, so it's a quasi-business development role / loan writing role.
BDC is working across all regions of Canada. Specifically with our technology group, it's a bit newer for Ontario and what I'm trying to do is increase my reach across southwestern Ontario and the GTA to meet more tech entrepreneurs and help them achieve their growth plans.
I am actually from London, Ontario, but I work and live in Toronto right now and have for the past several years, but I will be covering the southwestern region which includes London."
