Software Company Ranks in Top 10 for second consecutive year
London, ON, January 16, 2008 – For the second consecutive year, DRN Commerce Inc., Canada’s leading provider of software solutions for the credit and collection industry, is pleased to be named among the “Top 50 Best Small and Medium Employers in Canada.” DRN was recognized after participating in a 2008 study conducted by Queen's School of Business and Queen's Centre for Business Venturing (QCBV). The seventh place ranking for DRN Commerce Inc. is a testament to their commitment of being approachable, supportive and ensuring compensation and benefit plans meet the needs of employees.
“DRN’s revenue and employee population has doubled in the past year. We are all proud of our accomplishments in maintaining a place in the top 10 given the stress and tumult that this kind of growth can cause. We see this as an indication of our commitment to provide employees with a great work environment,” says Wayne McLeish, President and CEO of DRN. “We believe that if we work hard to take care of our employees they in turn will work hard to take care of our customers.”
This national awards program recognizes top employers with between 50 and 400 employees. Companies from across Canada are ranked using data collected on employee surveys which study topics such as benefits and compensation, management and leadership performance, career opportunities, etc. This year, more than 200 companies across Canada registered to participate in the study.
Study partners include Queen's School of Business, Queen’s Centre for Business Venturing and Hewitt Associates. More information about the Best Small & Medium Employers in Canada is available online at http://business.queensu.ca/qcbv/sme.
