Fanshawe helps SMEs improve productivity via new federal funding program

A new federal government funding program will see Fanshawe College helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) become more productive through adoption of digital technologies. The new Digital Technology Adoption Pilot Program (DTAPP) is designed to speed up the rate at which SMEs boost productivity using digital solutions. Companies can tap into Fanshawe expertise for assessments, recommendations, assistance with implementation and employee training. DTAPP funding covers the cost of the advisory services. Examples of potential projects include using digital technologies to update manufacturing and engineering processes, business and communication systems. To qualify for assistance, companies must have fewer than 500 employees, be for-profit, growth-oriented, incorporated, and operate in Canada.
