Affectionately known as festival season, summers in London are transformed into an outdoor haven for culture, music, and food. More than 15 festivals and events take place in London every summer, including Sunfest, the second largest outdoor festival in Canada, attracting over 200,000 visitors to Victoria Park.
Every year, the arts, entertainment, and culture industry attracts and contributes millions of dollars to the city’s economy. With more than 1,200 arts and culture businesses thriving in the City of London, over 7,700 workers are employed in this sector.

May 30 - June 10: Fringe Festival

June 4: Fiesta London!
Bringing the sounds, food, and music of Mexico to the heart of downtown London. Enjoy a variety of entertainment from throughout Latin America, colourful folkloric dancers, cultural exhibits, and authentic Latino-American cuisine, held at the Covent Garden Market

July 14 - 16: Home County Music & Art Festival
Celebrating 44 years of being London’s premier summer festival, full of music, art, and food in downtown London. This ‘admission by donation’ event features Canada’s best roots, traditional and indie folk/pop acts
July 20 - 30: Pride London Festival
Providing an annual opportunities to generate celebratory, cultural, artistic, and educational events which affirm the lives of LGBT people and our allies through activities which promote unity, inclusion, and awareness of sexual and gender diversity
July 22, 2017: Colombian Gastronomy Festival
Gather outside of the Covent Garden Market in Market Square where Stereo Caliente Entertainment will host the second annual Colombian Gastronomy Festival, offering authentic Colombian food with a unique flavour of Latin Music
August 11 & 12: Forest City Beer Festival
Downtown London’s annual celebration of craft beer is returning to the Covent Garden Market - launch party Friday, festival Saturday
August 25 - 27: London Bluesfest
Free festival set up in Harris Park celebrating blues music, with several craft and food vendors
August 26: London Taco Fest
Gather in the Covent Garden Market square for the first ever Taco Fest, featuring great food, drinks, and music
September 8-10, 2017: The London Beatles Festival
Three days of music, entertainment, and live acts for Beatles fans of every age, offering some of the best Beatles tributes as well as cinema screenings, panel discussions, and awards for various competitions
