Fostering Industry Collisions

Over 150 people gathered at Innovation Works on October 26, 2018 for the London Economic Development Corporation's (LEDC) and Forest City Film Festival's Networking Reception, which brings together local filmmakers and creatives.

Now in its second year, this industry collision event offers a unique experience for filmmakers and creatives in the digital space to connect and create business-to-business (B2B) opportunities, while hearing from representatives through quick pitches about what's happening in the film industry in London, the region, and southwestern Ontario.

In case you missed it, here's the lineup of speakers that pitched their businesses to guests:

-Melissa Millet, Animal Trainer at In Dogs We Trust

-Ryner Stoetzer, Composer & Sound Recording Engineer

-Kelly Peckham, Director at Wide Eye Television Inc.

-Lucas Labrecque, Post Production at Framecut

-Jordan Morris, Screenwriting Instructor at Sighthound Studio

-Matt Dumas, Owner of Red Bird Aerials

-Anthony Veilleux, Makeup & Special Effects at Allvisual

-Craig Sellars, Production Design at Sellars Art

-Monica Ulici, Executive Director/CEO at the Independent Film Connection of London Ontario (IFCLO)

-Adam Caplan, Committee Chair for the Screen Industry Strategy Working Group at the City of London

-Kelly Payne, Program Consultant at Ontario Creates
