A sales surge at a leading London technology firm has left it searching for workers. Info-Tech Research Group is projecting sales will increase 100 per cent this year and is targeting 100 per cent again next year. It will need about 50 workers to keep pace.
Info-Tech needs sales staff who will sell a kind of online newsletter on technology issues to businesses. It also needs 10 analysts who will help write the newsletter.
Pay will be based on experience. But a technology background is not needed for the jobs as the company prefers to train.
Tech businesses also need to tap into private colleges, the unemployed and under-employed, added Patricia Hoffer, spokesperson for the London Economic Development Corp.
