Future Play 2006 will bring together academics, industry professionals, and students who want to gain insight into the future of game development, game impacts and applications, and game talent. Future Play 2006 is co-hosted by Algoma University College, home to North America's first MSc in Computer Games Technology, and the University of Western Ontario, with sponsorship support from the London Economic Development Corporation, FedNor, and the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development & Trade.
