Introducing Exponent Energy: Ushering in a New Era of Health-Conscious Energy Drinks

Imagine a world where energy drinks are no longer synonymous with jitters and crashes. Exponent Energy in London is making that vision a reality with its refreshing take on an energy drink created with well-being in mind. Using exclusively naturally sourced ingredients, Exponent raises the standard of what an energy drink can be.

With a passion for innovation and a commitment to providing a healthier and more sustainable energy solution, Exponent Energy has quickly garnered attention as a refreshing alternative to traditional, mainstream options. Since the company’s early inception in 2019 when founders Mike Pullam and Matt Stirling met, Exponent Energy has rapidly expanded its reach across Canada with over 150 stores carrying their energy drinks, since their launch in May 2023.

“We didn’t set out to start a business with our product at first—we just wanted to create an energy drink that we could feel good about drinking every day,” explained Pullam. “Exponent Energy started with us seeing that there were no tasty options on the market for a healthy energy drink and taking up the challenge of creating one ourselves.”

Following rigorous research and consultations with food scientists, Exponent was developed to be a clean energy drink without high-sugar, high-caffeine, or artificial sweeteners such as sucralose and ace-k. As a healthy alternative, Exponent has many mainstream energy brands like Monster and Red Bull beat with cleaner ingredients that offer the same boost.

“Our mission with Exponent Energy was to create something that didn’t really exist, that was for everyone,” Stirling said. “We didn’t want to cater to just one specific audience but make something that is inclusive, health-conscious, and could be enjoyed regardless of who you are or what your day looks like.”

Pullam and Stirling plan to continue to expand their business both in London and beyond, having partnered with U.S.-based L.A. Libations, a beverage incubator that is associated with popular brands such as Body Armor, ZOA and Vitamin Water. Exponent Energy is set to premier in the coming weeks in California, Hawaii, and Illinois with three unique flavours that include fusions of citrus, blue raspberry, and  orange/tangerine combinations.

“Seeing people try our product and being impressed that something naturally sourced can also taste so good is the best part of our work,” said Stirling. “Part of Exponent is doing business the right way by staying focused on what we want to achieve, staying true to the mission we started with, and giving back to the community.”
