Kapil Lakhotia is the new chair of the board of directors at King’s University College. Mr. Lakhotia is the president and chief executive officer of the London Economic Development Corporation. He received an honours degree in economics from King’s and a master of economics from the University of Waterloo. Mr. Lakhotia also taught economics at King’s from 2005 to 2010. Most recently, he served as vice-chair of the board, and will serve in his new role for two years.
