London, ON (February 2, 2012) The London Economic Development Corporation is the recipient of the Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Marketing Excellence in Ontario. Presented at the Economic Developers Council of Ontario’s (EDCO) annual awards ceremony held in Toronto, this is the highest honour within the economic development industry.
Each year, EDCO recognizes achievements in municipal economic development marketing by presenting awards in the categories of business development, tourism and product development. The Honourable David C. Onley was on-hand to present the award in recognition of the contribution of the London Economic Development Corporation’s “Tomorrow in London, Canada” video.The video was designed to demonstrate the crucial role played by London companies in developing innovative products with a global reach.
