Paving the way into the future, runway 15-33 re-opens with fresh asphalt, set to last through 2050 and beyond!
LONDON, ON – The London International Airport has invested in a rehabilitation of their main runway. The old runway surface was milled and a fresh layer of new asphalt was laid down. New low energy LED lighting was installed for all of the runway edge lights and approach lights.
London International Airport would like to take a moment to thank our partners Avia NG, and Green Infrastructure Partners Inc. Their hard work and dedication has brought this project to a close on time and on budget.
