The Public Sector Digest Inc. (PSD) announces the acquisition of Corvée Consulting Professionals (Corvée), located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. This latest acquisition reinforces PSD’s dominant position in the public infrastructure, asset management and financial planning industry and its dedication to empowering decision-makers in governments with high-performance software applications, consulting and research services.
Headquartered in London Ontario, PSD has been enhancing asset management and budgeting practices in public sector organizations across North America since 2003. With a growing staff of more than 80 full-time experienced professionals, PSD provides tailored systems and services to diverse government organizations of all sizes, including municipalities, universities, school boards and conservation authorities. After a third year in a row with more than 50% revenue growth, PSD plans to increase its London head office to 100 full-time staff. PSD is currently looking for Full Stack Developers, Mobile Application Developers, Business Development Representatives and a Human Resources Assistant for the London office.
“PSD has experienced significant growth over the past five years, and with the acquisition of Corvée, we will be able to further expand our delivery of enterprise-wide solutions to both new and existing clients” said Matthew Dawe, Senior Vice-President at PSD. PSD will retain the Corvée offices in Victoria and has named Corvée Principal, Matthew V. Hartney, as General Manager, Financial Consulting Services and leader for the region.
Corvée services will be marketed throughout North America under PSD’s Consulting Services division, and will expand to include CFO Support Services, User Rate Studies, Capital Projections & Funding Plans (10, 20 or 50 years), Long Term Financial Planning, Capital Asset Data Reviews, Core Service Reviews, Operational Expense Reviews, and Financial Reporting Transformations.
“We see this transaction as having significant benefits for Corvée clients, as we will now be part of a larger organization which will secure our long-term future and allow us to expand our financial consulting services nationally, while also providing a greater Western Canada presence locally for PSD”, said Matthew Hartney. “We will also now be paired with an experienced group of public sector professionals that have industry leading software. This will allow us to better serve existing governments and reach new clients and markets, making this transaction an exciting catalyst for our future.”
