The London Region Manufacturing Council (LRMC), in its sixth year of service to the London region manufacturing industry, continues to be a driving force behind the strengthening of this industry
The LRMC works tirelessly to engage the manufacturing community to raise awareness of the industry, promote local manufacturing regionally and globally, and develop initiatives to address local challenges and opportunities. They realize they are stronger working together, and share knowledge and best practices to support the growth of each other, and therefore the industry as a whole.
Terry Off, the new Chair of the LRMC (and President of Vytec Corporation in his day job), is pleased to announce three new members on the Steering Committee.
Les Bogar, of CAMI Automotive Inc.
Larry MaGill of London Machinery Inc.
Bob Cook of Keiper Canada
Brad Hagan, Plant Manager of Labatt Ontario Breweries and a member of the Steering Committee for the last two years, has been recently named Vice-Chair of LRMC. Paul Hogendoorn, a founding member of the LRMC (and President of OES Inc.) continues on the Council as Past Chair. Other Steering Committee members include Dave Grimshaw of McCormick Canada, Steve Glickman and Larry MacKinnon of the London Economic Development Corporation, David Gurnham of Deloitte, Reg Wilson of Abuma Manufacturing, Mark Pickard of Trudell Medical International and Joe vander Heyden.
There are many pressures on the manufacturing industry locally, provincially and nationally, and the LRMC is helping to ensure that London manufacturers can beat the odds. For more information, visit www.manufacturinglondon.com, or call Terry Off at 519-690-5001.
