LondonFUSE launches crowdfunding campaign to support new video network

LondonFUSE is launching a crowdfunding campaign for FUSE TV Presents, a new video network of engaging video content directed by local emerging creative talent. The content will cover a range of cultural subject matter. “Retaining our city’s young creative minds is critical to London’s growth,” says executive director Thomas Cermak. “With FUSE TV Presents, we’re providing an opportunity for them to gain real-world experience with access to on the job mentors, media equipment, a platform, studio space, and a collaborative community.”

The project aims to raise $15,000. Funds will help pay for various aspects of video production and training. They have already begun work on the punk music series Collateral Jamage TV and an electronic music series titled A Person Disguised As People. Other shows include Process, a behind the scenes look at creative people and their craft. FTP is a view from inside the local tech industry. Then there’s FUSE Docs, which explores a wide breadth of serious subject matter.

Most Londoners will know LondonFUSE as an online publication, but over the last few years, the organization has developed its capacity to incubate creative talent. They’ve mentored over 30 young adults in the art of digital content creation over the past year, with the help of local industry leaders.

Those same industry leaders are excited to see FUSE TV take off. “There is no shortage of demand,” says Cermak. “For those who want to learn, those who want to teach, and those looking to hire. Basically, it’s a win-win-win.”

Pledges can be made on our Indiegogo page via credit card or paypal.
