London, Ontario, April 2, 2024 — Neogen® Corporation (NASDAQ: NEOG) announced today that it has expanded its Canadian operations into a new country office in London, Ontario. Located in Northwest London, the 7,000 sq. ft. facility includes a food safety-focused customer training center, an instrument service center, and a commercial office.
Neogen entered Canada in 2019 when it acquired an animal genomics laboratory located in Edmonton, Alberta. The acquisition helped to significantly accelerate the growth of the company’s bovine genomics business.
“The growth of Neogen’s food safety business, coupled with the acquisition of the former 3M Food Safety Division in September 2022, greatly increased our need for an additional physical workplace to run our commercial and logistics operations,” said Jorge Arroyo, Country Manager for Neogen Canada. “In this new facility, we will be able to demonstrate our best-in-class solutions and offer state-of-the-art hands-on and virtual training to Canadian food producers in both official languages. The instrument service center at this location will also allow us to provide accelerated repair and calibration services to our Canadian customers.”
