The London based, life science company, NeoVentures Biotechnology Inc. is pleased to announce the formation of a subsidiary company NeoNeuro in Paris, France.
The company is a joint-venture between NeoVentures and the Institut du cerveau et de la moelle épinière (ICM) at the Hôpital Pitié Salpêtrière. ICM is the leading neurology research institute in Europe. The company is being formed to apply NeoVentures aptamer technology to the discovery of new biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease.
NeoVentures has developed a proprietary platform which enables selection of aptamer libraries against molecular targets that differ between patients without a need for foreknowledge of these targets. Identification of the targets will be performed through collaboration with the Jacques Monod Institut in Paris.
This is the first of several joint ventures that NeoVentures intends to develop which enables application of their platform technology in association with world class expertise in a health care field.
