If hiring and attracting new talent is a challenge for your business, EMC's new pilot program WILWorks High School is here to help!
This pilot program supports Ontario manufacturers and allied industries offering co-op placements for high school students. Employers can receive increased exposure of their high school co-op opportunities through our relationship with school boards as well as a financial incentive of up to $3500 per student placement. For employers, WILWorks High School can help fill a human resource need and highlight opportunities within your company to students - the future workforce. We currently have the capacity to support a limited number high school co-op placements for first or second semester.
At EMC, we believe that when high school students are paired with manufacturing facilities to learn and share in experiences, good things happen. If you have a history of offering high school placements, or if it is something you have not considered before, reach out to Susan smclachlan@emccanada.org to learn more about how WILWorks High School may work for you!
