New Non-Stop Flights to Chicago on United Airlines

London International Airport announced this week new non-stop jet service from London to Chicago O'Hare International Airport starting September 29th, 2009 on United Airlines. United's schedule out of London includes two direct flights to and from Chicago each day. From Chicago, travelers can make connections through O'Hare to hundreds of U.S. and worldwide destinations.

United Express partner SkyWest will operate the flight utilizing Canadian made CRJ Regional Jets. The 50 seat CRJ is a comfortable and fast regional jet that will have a flying time to Chicago of approximately 1 hour and twenty minutes. Members of Air Canada's AeroPlan program may continue to earn and redeem miles on flights operated by United Airlines.

"United's new service out of London will provide travelers to the U.S. with direct flights to a large destination market from London as well as convenient connections through one of the best airports in the world. We have worked hard in obtaining this service and we need our region to support the new route. We have continued to add new airlines and new destinations to our air service from London" add Baker, " and we are confident that the Chicago service with United Airlines will result in full flights and the start of our great relationship between our community and United Airlines."
