What is the Ontario Vendor Portal?
The Ontario Vendor Portal is a new digital online solution that allows vendors to self-register and manage their own business transactions with the government of Ontario at any time. The portal provides access for vendors to update their business profiles and look up invoices, payments, and purchase orders—in real-time.
What is Happening?
Starting May 8, 2024, new Other Direct Operating Expenses (ODOE) vendors requesting to do business with Ontario can self-register for the Ontario Vendor Portal after their ministry contact has determined eligibility.
Who is Affected?
All Ontario Public Service (OPS) staff who work directly with vendors.
What is the New Process for Onboarding New ODOE Vendors?
To determine a new ODOE vendor's eligibility for self-registration, you must first:
1- Complete the Ontario Vendor Portal Eligibility assessment.
2- Follow the recommended process for one of the three assessment outcomes:
a) Send the Vendor Self-Registration Email Template to your vendor.
b) Submit an Action Request Management System (ARMS) request to setup or reactivate your vendor.
c) No action required, your vendor is already setup and active in IFIS.
