Paul Hogendoorn Named as New LRMC Chair

London ON – (September 26, 2005) Paul Hogendoorn has been named Chair, London Region Manufacturing Council (LRMC) effective October 1, 2005. President of London-based OES Inc., Hogendoorn is a founding member of the LRMC, created in 2002 to represent the region’s growing manufacturing sector. “Paul has been instrumental in the continued success of LRMC by advocating for the best interest of manufacturers locally and provincially,” says Denis Crane, outgoing LRMC Chair and President of County Heritage Forest Products. The LRMC is an industry organization that promotes and encourages the continued growth and prosperity of the London region manufacturing sector by engaging the manufacturing community, raising awareness and promoting the local manufacturing sector regionally and beyond. “I love living in London. Every dollar generated by manufacturers creates an additional $2.00 of economic activity.” says Hogendoorn, “Manufacturing jobs, on average, pay 22% more than the average job in Canada.
