LONDON ONTARIO, SEPTEMBER 1, 2009: P.C. Consulting, a London-based, full-service computer support organization, announced today the celebration of 20 years in business.
Founded in 1989, P.C. Consulting has evolved from a one-man, home-based business to a thriving multi-faceted organization serving small- to mid-sized businesses in London and surrounding area.
"What started out as a fairly simple idea?that business people want someone to talk to them in plain English about how to computerize their operations?was received even better than I'd hoped," said Paul Lambert, President and founder of P.C. Consulting. "Twenty years ago, many business owners were intimidated by computers, and by the people who were selling them. I decided to offer my management experience and knowledge of automating business processes as an alternative to the consulting services that were being offered at that time and bring a 'high touch' approach to an otherwise 'low touch' industry. I talked to my clients in terms that they could understand and focused on their business needs. I believe that this common sense approach has been the basis for our growth over the past twenty years.
"I'd like to thank all of the customers that we've had the opportunity to work with. Without them there would be no anniversary to celebrate. I'd also like to thank my staff. I'm particularly proud of the people who work here. I sincerely believe that this terrific team of people sets us apart from our competition and their genuine caring is the reason we are able to provide exemplary service to our customers."
P.C. Consulting specializes in accounting, business management and ERP software solutions and has been an award-winning Sage Software Business Partner since 1990. In 2008, they were awarded Sage's prestigious Customer Excellence Award for outstanding customer service. They also provide a complement of related services including: Strategic IT planning and implementation; network and hardware service and support; custom software development; and web site development and content management.
Lambert continues, "A lot has changed in techology and business over the past twenty years but what remains the same is that people want to be treated as individuals and with respect. Customers want to feel that they are being heard and are receiving good value for their money. The basic tenets that we run our business on are: show up on time; finish what we start; do what we say we will; and be polite. I believe that this philosophy has served us well and should continue to do so in the years to come."
