PHSS Support Services is a provincial, non-profit, community-based organization, whose mission is to support individuals with complex medical, physical and/or developmental needs, to live in their own homes and participate in community with family and friends. Its vision to be a leader in community inclusion through innovation and pushing boundaries, enables people to live in healthy caring communities, and take on the responsibility of contributing to the greater environment.
PHSS provides support to more than 430 people at 80 locations in communities across Ontario, including London, St. Thomas, Stratford, Owen Sound, Ottawa, Nepean, Gloucester, Orleans and Lanark County. These support services include 24-hour residential support, day and overnight respite, specialized complex medical care, intensive behavioral supports, recreational programs, and assistance for those living at home with their families through the You At Home program. In addition to these services, people supported are encouraged to follow their passions, including through art, music, sport and other pursuits.
