London, Ontario Canada, March 29, 2012 Pulse InfoFrame, a secure cloud-based healthcare analytics company, announced today that it is the recipient of the Techcellence 2012 Innovation Award. Pulse InfoFrame received this honour at the Tech Alliance Gearing Up for Growth Conference in London on March 27, 2012. The Innovation Award highlights a technology-based start-up in London and Southwestern Ontario with novel technology that is a creative solution to a problem in the marketplace.
Pulse InfoFrame has developed enabling technology that allows physicians in specialty clinics to easily capture, organize, model, store and share detailed administrative and medical data (i.e. medical histories, appointment scheduling, blood work and imaging results) with patients and other healthcare stakeholders through a secure, web-based application.
“Our solution has been tested by specialty clinics within the hospital environment,” says Femida Gwadry-Sridhar, founder of Pulse. “The Pulse InfoFrame system is completely web-based and cloud-oriented such that all data and analytics are provided in a real-time secure environment and accessible from anywhere and by multiple devices.”
Aging demographic and greater health concerns are putting significant stress on the budgets of healthcare organizations around the world. Having robust health information technology to collect, manage and share data amongst various users and healthcare providers and help focus on disease prevention and behavioral change is critical to reducing costs, manage complexity and improve patient outcomes.
“The Pulse InfoFrame healthcare informatics platform is a technology that will help physicians move from a clinic-based chronic disease management model towards a behavior change model,” says Gwadry-Sridhar. “Successfully changing behavior to prevent and manage disease is a game changer in healthcare.”
