Purifics is installing Ontario’s first NSF 419 chemical free packaged drinking water system in a rural community. The complete plant is a single platform. These systems will purify groundwater of metals (Fe, Al, Mn, Hg, Pb...), pathogens, chemicals, TSS, H2S, hardness, colour, taste and odour.
Purifics’ packaged drinking water systems are the first to receive the NSF 419 certification, the new standard for membrane technology log removal. The creation of NSF 419 is a combined effort between the NSF, US EPA, Purifics and regulators from the following jurisdictions: ON, CA, AK, MN, MA, OK to ensure and certify high-quality membrane performance.
Purifics packaged systems are ideal for remote locations such as First Nations communities and emergency response scenarios due to their small footprint, sustainability, low operating costs and minimal logistics (electrical only). Solar power can be easily added to the system to provide off-grid or grid-neutral solutions.
Packaged systems are fully automated, remotely monitored, pre-designed, have Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) capability and NSF 61 certification.
