You’ve propelled your idea into a business. You’re an entrepreneur with a vision.
But, did you know there are groups and resources in London to support your and your entrepreneurial venture along the way?
The London Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) will be presenting Eye on Enterprise on February 3 to introduce entrepreneurs to resources in place to support their journeys and provide a networking opportunity in the city.
“LEDC works with a number of local agencies to ensure entrepreneurial success in London,” said Kapil Lakhotia, president and CEO, LEDC. “We’re bringing many of those groups, including the Small Business Centre, Pillar Nonprofit Network and the newly established Campus Linked Accelerator, together under one roof to benefit the attendees.”
The event will be of interest to local entrepreneurs and serial entrepreneurs as well as investors and angel funders. With plenty of opportunities to network, attendees will have a chance to build relationships within the entrepreneurial community and complementary groups and associations.
A wide range of topics will be discussed at the event by speakers who themselves are entrepreneurs and have chosen to help others. Some entrepreneurs speaking at the event include fashion designer Carmina De Young, Fernando Kerr Design co-founder Joe Kerr, and Jessica Hodgson of Kaleid Snow Gear.
The keynote address will be delivered by Manjit Minhas. The Calgary-based entrepreneur is the president of Mountain Crest Liquors Inc. (MCLI) and runs the $150-million, 10th largest brewery in the world.
“It will definitely be an inspirational day for London-based entrepreneurs,” Lakhotia said.
