TechAlliance Welcomes Christina Fox as CEO

TechAlliance announced today that the Board of Directors have appointed Christina Fox as the organization’s CEO, effective September 3, 2019. Ms. Fox is a proven leader within London’s business and nonprofit sectors, and brings a wide-ranging history of successful and positive community engagement to the role.

“I am incredibly thrilled to be joining TechAlliance, a high performance organization anchored in a community of innovators who tackle real challenges in our world.” says Ms. Fox. “Together, we will continue to launch startups, optimize scale-ups and global enterprises to create competitive and contemporary jobs and drive economic impact in the region, with truly collaborative partnerships”.

Ms. Fox joins TechAlliance most recently from 3M Canada as the eCommerce Leader. She brings to TechAlliance a wide range of strategic experience that will enable the organization to grow, including alumni relations leadership with the University of Toronto Mississauga and Western University, director of development for United Way London & Middlesex, and as an instructor in non-profit management at Western University.

Ms. Fox is a dedicated volunteer in the community currently serving on the Campaign Cabinet of Youth Opportunities Unlimited, former Co-Chair of Pillar Community Innovation Awards, adjudicator for Canada’s Next Top Ad Exec, Board of Directors for the Canadian Club of London, Board of Directors for the United Way London & Middlesex as well as founding GenNext Cabinet Chair, and Board of Directors for the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education.

“We conducted a nation-wide search to find the ideal CEO of TechAlliance, the region’s innovation centre.” explains David Ciccarelli, Chair of the TechAlliance Board of Directors and CEO of Voices.com. “Our search, where we met with candidates both local and from far away, led us to select Christina. As the board chair and a member of the selection committee, we all appreciated her enthusiasm for the tech community and her understanding of the key players in our region. We believe Christina will immediately resonate with those who connect with her and look up to her as the main point of contact for TechAlliance.”
