Trudell Medical Marketing Limited (TMML), established in 1922 and celebrating its 80th year in business, commemorated their future corporate head office and distribution facility, in a ground breaking ceremony on Wednesday, August 7, 2002. The building will be constructed on a 10-acre site on the corner of Cheapside and Third Street in London, Ontario, Canada.
During the ceremony, Evan Collins, Vice-President and General Manager of TMML, said "We chose to remain in London because of its first class healthcare and research institutions and supportive business community." With 100 guests in attendence including TMML's employees, customers and suppliers, Mayor Anne Marie DeCicco spoke about the importance of TMML's decision to remain in London citing their long history in the city.
