After a year of work, the London Employment Help Centre (LEHC) and Pathways Skill Development are pleased to announce their unification into one agency. The name of the new agency will be Pathways Employment Help Centre. The new name honours the legacy of the founding organizations that have provided exceptional service to our community.
Paul Hubert will lead the unified agency as CEO (current CEO of Pathways). Nancy McQuillan, current CEO of LEHC will serve as Sr. Director of Transitions for one year prior to retirement. It is expected that Unification will occur April/May 2021. Until that time, both will remain in their current positions.
With a combined 70 years of service to the community and a history of collaboration, we are preparing to help rebuild the London and area economy with employment, skills development and advocacy as we emerge from the pandemic.
Both agencies have a history of excellent service delivery and are coming from a position of strength. We want to amplify our impact. These benefits include:
- A more responsive and flexible agency to respond to changing labour market needs
- Enhanced service to employers
- Increased access – job seekers getting a fuller range of service and accessing what they need when they need it
- Greater clarity for jobseekers of where to go to get help
- Increased sustainability with more effective use of resources
Join us as we celebrate this amazing milestone!
